Those who have the following will be ineligible for

Under the age of 18
Pregnant or nursing
Diabetic (insulin dependent)
Actively on anticoagulants, blood thinners, or long term use of aspirin, tylenol, and/ or ibuprofen.
Autoimmune Disease
Glaucoma
Blood disorders
Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure
Has transmittable blood condition (HEPS, AIDS, HIVS)
Heart conditions
Prone to keloids or hypertrophic scarring
Allergic to Lidocaine or Epinephrine
Allergic to Nickel (Sensitive to metals used for jewelry)
Filler or injections in or around the lips within 6 weeks. Restylane need to wait after a year due to the risk of pigment migration along the lip line.
Lips implants
No chemical peels or laser skin resurfacing 4 weeks prior to appointment.
Botox / Facials / Peels / Microdermabrasions / Lasers within 1 month of procedure
Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation
Use of Accutane / Retin A within the last year
Use of Latisse or any other eyelash/brow growth serums within 6 months
Open wounds, rashes, and/or any skin conditions on the procedure area
Undergoing / scheduled for Chemo
Epilepsy (prone to fainting)
Lupus
Clients who have undergone organ transplant
Clients with skin conditions (Eczema, vitiligo, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis, etc) on procedure area
Lash Lift & Tint
Under the age of 18

Very short lashes. Recommended to use a serum first for at least 6 weeks before doing the service.

Trichotillomania or simple terms if you have a habit of pulling out of lashes and/or brows.
Not recommended for radiotherapy/chemotherapy clients (should wait at least a year from your last treatment).
Recently had blepharoplasty surgery - Most will experience an increased sensitivity in the eye area for quite a while. You need to give yourself that time to heal first. After that, you can consult with your physician to be sure. Recommended to wait at least a year.
Recently had Lasik surgery - You will need to wait for at least 6 months before you can have a lash lift. But always consult with your treating doctor before going ahead with the treatment.
You are on hormonal medication (e.g.) roaccutane, thyroid medication. These types of medications make it difficult to predict how effective the lash lifting solution will be, and we cannot guarantee the results. We do not recommend lash lifting for our clients on hormonal medication, but it is possible to proceed – you just need to be aware that there is a chance the lash lift may not work very well.
Brow Lamination & Hybrid Dye
Under the age of 18
Pregnant or nursing
Hemophilia
Allergy to products or hair dyes
Keloids / Hypertrophic scaring

Skin diseases such as psoriasis, impetigo, eczema and undiagnosed rashes or blisters on brows
You must be off of Retin-A, Retinol, or Retinoids for 7 days or more prior to your procedure and avoid using on or around the area for 7 days after. These medications contains ingredients that can affect the brows and skin, which may lead to skin irritation or redness during the treatment. It can cause skin lifting as well.
Fillers or Botox should be done 4 weeks prior to your procedure and 4 weeks after your procedure.
If you recently got Permanent Makeup done, you must wait 6 weeks after.
Discontinue Brow Growth Serums for 6 weeks prior to your appointment.
Not recommended for radiotherapy/chemotherapy clients (should wait at least a year from your last treatment).
You need to stop Accutane at least one year prior to any waxing procedure and most other acne medications at least three months prior.

**Ultimately, your safety is K Artistry priority. If you have any medical issues that you feel might be a contraindication, then please receive a clearance from your health care provider/physician prior to receiving any procedures at K Artistry. A Doctor's clearance will be needed.
